November 8 - White Salmon, WA
AWESOME ride today! Went with Grant Myers to the Logs Inn up in White Salmon, Washington. Took highway 14 East up to the Cook-Underwood road overlook. Gorgeous views of the Columbia river gorge in both directions. Then headed north up highway 141. The fall colors were spectacular- red, orange, and yellow all around as we swooped past mountains, rivers, lakes, and orchards. Coming home the sun was setting in the west over the river. I feel so blessed to live in such a beautiful part of the country. I do have to say, I am seriously considering splurging on a pair of electric gloves. It was in the 40’s when we left but 39 by the time I got home! So glad I had my electric jacket and some hand-warmers stuck in my gloves. Can’t wait to hit the road again soon.
