Christmas just keeps getting better! Went on a glorious ride today with great friends Mike and Kelly Webb and Grant Myers. The sun was out, and it was downright balmy – about 48 degrees at the high point. But I had my electric jacket and gloves on and was snug as a bug. Mike led us down highway 99 East along the Willamette River then on to McMinnville. We passed through vineyards, farm country and orchards then made a pit stop at Stuart Grenfell Park. From there we headed West to Sheridan and then circled back to Amity. We stopped at Blue Raeven Farmstand but alas they were closed due to a power outage. We still we able to use their picnic bench to enjoy a sack lunch in the sun. On our way back we passed Champoeg State Park and were treated to beautiful views of a snow-capped Mount Hood before passing the Willamette Falls on our way home. What a treat!
