December 12 - Barton Park

What a delightful trip to Barton Park! Took the back way on Clackamas River Drive - fun curves and great river views. Not too much in the way of traffic and lots of green trees. I originally wanted to go to Mount Hood since it was so sunny out and I had my electric gear. But I noticed that it was 28 degrees there and I decided it wasn’t worth taking the risk I might encounter ice. So instead I pulled off and actually enjoyed the park. Sometimes the simpler things in life are meant to be savored.
