November 21 - Estacada to Stayton to Silverton

What an awesome day! Went on a great group ride through the backroads of Estacada to support Fort Kennedy, an organization that provides services for homeless veterans. Our group dropped off some Thanksgiving food for the veterans then got a tour of the impressive facility. Afterwards I took the long way home - south to Stayton and north to Silverton. I was searching for fall leaves of some kind and finally found the perfect place to pull over near Silverton. Beautiful farmlands and gently rolling hills all the way from Stayton north to Molalla and then home. My daughter and I went out to the food carts for dinner and I treated myself to my favorite wood-fired pizza in Portland. Pyro Pizza’s fennel sausage pizza is created with locally made sausage and has a delicious smoky, crispy outer crust and a tender flavorful inside. Ate the entire pizza and enjoyed every bite!
