March 27 - Catching up with an old Friend

Sometimes it’s less about the ride and more about who you’re riding with. Today I had the opportunity to catch up with an old friend who just got back on his bike after being out of commission for almost ten months. Because it was 400 miles just to get there and back, I took interstate all the way to Bothell, Washington to meet up with Norm. From there he led us on some fun backroads past the Snohomish River and into Sultan Washington to a biker-friendly roadside burger place. It was wonderful to catch up and spend some time together. Coming home I had some wonderful views of Lake Washington and lots of time to think about all that I had to be grateful for.
