July 6 - Yellowstone National Park

OK, I have to admit, I probably didn’t spend my day the same way as many of the people visiting Yellowstone. Decided to go straight to Old Faithful but just enjoy what I saw and not take any pictures. I was tempted by some nice looking Elk and Buffalo. But getting to Old Faithful and back was about 5.5 hours driving time without any stops. And I wanted to be back in time to enjoy the hot springs pool and read a book on the porch overlooking the garden. The photo I got of me with the bike was actually at a gas station before getting into the park. One of my favorite parts of the day was heading back to the resort- the speed limit was double or triple what it was in the park, the views were great, and I knew I was headed back for a relaxing evening. I feel so blessed and fortunate to have this time of adventure and renewal.
