I am in LOVE with Zion National Park! As far as I’m concerned it’s got the perfect trifecta for biking- roads in stellar condition, tight twists and turns, and magnificent views! There’s even a mile long narrow tunnel that’s dark inside. The thing that’s so cool about the topography is that the rocks and cliffs seem to be in motion- they often have swoops and swirls, like someone’s dipped a paint brush in orange paint and just gone wild with it. I’m just as transfixed with the rocks in Zion as I was with the elk in Rocky Mountain. I did the ride through the park three times today - one way from West to East just to stop and take pictures. Then when I got to the park exit I turned around and went both directions again before leaving. I am definitely coming back!
