Two-Wheeled Wind Therapy

Follow along with me on my first cross-country trip as I describe my life-changing adventure through this beautiful country and recount the positive life lessons I learned at every stage along my journey. Two-Wheeled Wind Therapy is filled with humorous anecdotes about my victories and mishaps; background information regarding my struggles with cancer, divorce, and the pandemic; touring tips; and vivid descriptions of national parks, important landmarks, and eating establishments. My hope is that this book will inspire all readers to take the next step in their own personal journey toward finding confidence, joy, and hope. There is something for all readers, whether they ride a motorcycle or not.

Living at Full Throttle

Just weeks before leaving on a motorcycle trip to Iceland, I received startling news from my cancer doctor, throwing my trip and my future into doubt. This story vividly recounts how my harrowing travels earlier through Alaska to the Arctic Ocean gave me strength to face the daunting news from a position of power. My heartfelt tales of adventures through twenty-four countries illustrate how to overcome fear, embrace it, or pivot when prudent. The lively descriptions of life on the road woven with details of my faith can help readers learn how to live fully in the moment, be open to adventure, and treat others with kindness regardless of circumstances. This book is a sequel to my first memoir, Two-Wheeled Wind Therapy.

Some people might think it was a little crazy to travel 450 miles for a good lunch. But then they probably haven’t been to Jeff’s Texas-Style BBQ in Marysville, about 40 miles north of Seattle. After getting a hot tip about this delightfu
With the left side of my face still swollen, hot, and sore from oral surgery two days ago, I decided to keep today’s ride simple. Armed with antibiotics and ibuprofen, I headed south to the Creswell Bakery to stock up on bread.

It’s hard to believe that it was almost exactly five years ago that I first set up my Harley for cross country travel. Don Weber at Mr. Ed’s Moto offered to install new luggage on my rack, a system I've used successfully for over 100,000
Bring on the leather chaps and summer riding gloves! With temperatures forecasted to hit the mid-seventies and an errand to run in Albany, I took some personal leave from the high school to sneak in a sliver of fun in the sun before heading home to w
