February 25: Have Bike, Will Travel

I am so excited to be getting my new baby ready for adventure! With the money I saved buying the bike used, I was able to put on some amazing engine guards, a skid plate, handlebar risers, and rear rack mount as well as to connect all my electronics – the pigtails for my electric gear and jump-start kit and USB connectors for my wireless charger and regular phone cord. Since I still can barely put my feet down, I’m planning on re-doing my seat at the end of March and hopefully getting another couple inches closer to the ground. I was so impressed with the professional job done at Bob Lanphere’s Beaverton Motorcycles. Chance in the service department did a great job helping me pick out the best parts and making sure they were professionally installed. Grant Myers came to the rescue again with his truck and trailer as there was so much ice still on the road today. After years of fun on my Harley I am also looking forward to branching out with the new baby.
