Even a busy day on the road is a good day. πŸ˜€ Had to get the bike serviced today. It’s already been almost 10,000 miles since I left! So I spent most of the afternoon at the Durango dealership. But I still managed to have time to visit Mesa Verde National Park this evening. I was able to see the canyons where the Ancestral Pueblo people established cliff dwellings. It is mind boggling to me that the people were able to survive in these villages built beneath the overhanging cliffs. I got a shot of one of the more famous communities (now known as cliff palace). If you zoom in to the right of my face you can see stone dwellings with windows and doors. I also stayed for the sunset. While I was there I saw a bear (got it on video but it is too small to really see) as well as a coyote carrying his evening dinner. Lots of great riding with twists and turns.
