Women Who Wrench Workshop - Build the Bike, Plan the Ride

Let's Plan Your Next Adventure!

Come visit with me April 18 from 10am-noon at the Steelhead Harley Davidson Dealership in Tigard. My workshop, "Women Who Wrench - Build the Bike, Plan the Ride," is designed to help you prepare for adventure rides and long-distance travel. Here's the scoop:

Adventure rider Kathleen Terner joins us for a hands-on workshop at Steelhead Harley-Davidson.

Over the last six years Kathleen has ridden more than 150,000 miles across 44 countries and six continents, completing multiple Iron Butt Association endurance rides along the way.

In this session Kathleen will walk through the specific bike modifications, gear choices, and setup decisions that make long-distance riding possible — especially for smaller riders balancing comfort, endurance, and control.

This event is open to all riders.

Event Schedule

10:00 AM – Hands-on shop session

11:00 AM – Upstairs Q&A and discussion - Lunch Provided

Kathleen will share stories from riding to the Arctic Ocean, the Sahara Desert, South America, and Australia, along with tips for logistics like shipping bikes internationally and preparing for extreme conditions.
